Today was a pretty good day. It started with me and Sean trying to figure out if it was going to rain. We decided to just go for it and leave. It rained for about an hour and then the skies cleared a little. We were on the last section of the trail and it was pretty boring. I was exsited to be done with the trail. We had lunch after about 35 miles and that is where we parted ways. Sean was going to Kansas City to see a friend. I continued on to Clinton where the trial ends. As I got closer to Clinton there were some bad storms coming from the west. I rode pretty hard from town to town trying to get in front of them. I eventually made it to about 10 miles from Clinton. Itstarted to down pour and it rained for the next 10 miles. I was knid of nice to cool off, but it was making the trail harder to ride on because it was not solid pavement. I got into town and meet a bunch of people that were going to be starting the Katy trail the next day. We chatted for a few minutes and I called it a night. I was wet and tired. I stayed at a hotel because it was suppose to rain all night long and I do not feel like dealing with wet camping gear.
